MTS: new interior design of stores that increased the share of purchases

CHALLENGE

MTS is a Russian telecommunications company providing services in Russia and CIS countries under the brand «MTS». The company was established in 1993 and currently has several services that form an ecosystem. The Total Skills Network team was asked to develop a design concept for the company’s stores.

SOLUTION

The concept was implemented in the format of a pilot project in the flagship store of the brand in Moscow. The variety of services and functionality of the point of sale reflects the positioning of the MTS brand as an ecosystem, encouraging customers to purchase new services.

RESULT

The new design led to increase in the share of purchases of new products among current MTS users by 10%; The updated flagship store received good feedback from reviewers and visitors, it was decided to replicate the pilot point for the entire network; The design concept was adopted and implemented with some modifications.
